3/14- Preparing fibers and spinning a single ply.
In this class you will learn how to prepare roving for spinning and how to use a top whorl drop spendle to make single ply yarn. we will be using between 15-25 grams of roving depending on preference and we probably will not get through it all in one class but we will get you all the skills you need to finish your roving at home and come back to learn to ply it on 3/28! I wouldn't recommend trying to use your first single ply as yarn, as it is tricky to spin single ply yarn to knit with.
3/28- Creating a two ply yarn with the Andean plying bracelet method.
